Task Force Dagger Special Operations Foundation exists for what comes next.
Founded and operated by Special Operations veterans, Task Force Dagger understands that recovery is rarely a straight line. The support available through traditional systems does not always address every need, especially when a family is facing an urgent financial crisis, a complex health condition, or an invisible injury that affects every part of daily life.
The foundation helps close those gaps through three core areas of service. Its Immediate Needs program provides rapid assistance during medical, financial, funeral, and essential-living crises. Its Rehabilitative Adaptive Events bring Special Operations families together through adaptive activities and wellness experiences designed to rebuild connection, confidence, and purpose. Its SOF Health Initiatives Program helps families navigate health resources, treatment options, coaching, and case management for challenges such as traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress, chronic pain, toxic exposure, and other complex conditions.
This work recognizes that caring for a warfighter means caring for the whole person and the family surrounding them. A medical crisis can quickly become a financial crisis. An invisible injury can affect a marriage, a career, and a person’s sense of identity. Meaningful recovery may require clinical care, practical assistance, community, and the reassurance that no one has been left to navigate the process alone.
That mission is strengthened through collaboration with organizations that understand the unique needs of military families.
Brain Treatment Center NoVA is a veteran-owned clinic serving veterans, active-duty military members, first responders, and their families. Its work focuses on brain health, trauma, traumatic brain injury, mental health, and nervous-system recovery. The center offers individualized services that may include brain mapping, TMS and MeRT, neurofeedback, occupational therapy, functional health support, and integrative mental-health care.
Task Force Dagger and Brain Treatment Center NoVA are aligned by a shared belief: the effects of military service cannot always be addressed through a single treatment, program, or institution. Supporting the Special Operations community requires cooperation among nonprofit organizations, healthcare providers, families, and community partners.
Task Force Dagger brings a deep understanding of the Special Operations community and the ability to help families navigate needs that may fall outside traditional systems. Brain Treatment Center NoVA brings experience in individualized, brain-based and whole-person care for military-connected populations. Together, their work reflects a broader commitment to expanding awareness of complex service-related health challenges and helping military families identify meaningful paths toward support.
The most important work often begins where the public story of military service ends. It continues through medical appointments, financial emergencies, family struggles, and the long process of rebuilding a life after service.
The uniform may come off. The responsibility to support those who wore it must continue.
