The Story of Paul M. Sorce
Special Agent Paul M. Sorce spent nearly two decades serving his country with the FBI. In 2009, while conducting surveillance as a member of the Detroit Violent Crime Task Force, he was killed in the line of duty at just 44 years old.
Paul’s service extended far beyond the badge. He was a devoted husband, father of four, high school coach, and mentor who deeply believed in giving back. Every holiday season, he helped underprivileged families experience the joy of the Christmas—a tradition that continues today through the Paul M. Sorce Memorial Fund.
Each year, the Paul M. Sorce Memorial Golf Outing brings together family, friends, law enforcement, and community members to honor Paul's life while raising funds to support families in need. His legacy is a powerful reminder that service isn’t measured only by how we protect our communities, but by how we show up for them.
